GENERAL INFORMATION:
SOLA is proud to offer a scholarship program to those students who are in financial need and exhibit an artistic potential. This program allows for increasing accessibility and participation in the arts to underserved populations within the community. These scholarships are offered for all semester classes and cover the registration fee and semester tuition totaling $165. Scholarships are awarded by review of SoLa’s scholarship panel and are offered to both children and adults. Eight scholarships are available for the spring and fall semesters. SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION:
SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES:
- All scholarships are administered by SoLa based on scholarship criteria.
- Scholarships are for classes only - not private lessons.
- Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need and artistic potential.
Only complete applications will be considered. - The amount of the scholarship will cover the registration fee of $15 and
semester tuition of $150 totaling $165. - The scholarship committee will review all applications and make final
recommendations of recipients to the board for approval. - Scholarships are available to any person school age to adult.
- There is no limit to the number of times a student can submit an
application and be awarded a scholarship. A new application must be submitted by the deadline for each semester. - SoLa reserves the right to reissue a scholarship in the event that a student
