Brushes and Bottles is a class for adults. Each class is about two hours long. Patrons are given a canvas and paint supplies and step by step directions on recreating a masterpiece and/or personalizing it. Wine is available or patrons can bring their own wine, beer or daiquiri. The classes take place at The Downtown Art Guild located at 630 Belanger Street, Houma, LA. This month the painting is Fleur De Lis, patrons are encouraged to personalize there painting.   • The Halloween Parade will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009.
  • It will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. and finish at approximately 8:00 p.m.
  • The parade starts at the Town Hall Parking Lot on Barrow street in Houma.
  • The parade runs down Barrow Street to Main a left on Main and ends at the Court House on Main.
  • The Houma Regional Arts Council will be showing a Charlie Brown Halloween in the Court House square after the parade.
